Mindframe presenting at Australia and New Zealand Communication Association (ANZCA) conference

Mindframe Project Officer, Clare Jones and Senior Project Officer, Elizabeth Paton will be travelling to Canberra to present at the Australia and New Zealand Communication Association (ANZCA) annual conference on 3rd-5th July.
Clare Jones will be presenting on Mindframe for Alcohol and Other Drugs, Mindframe’s new project, which launched in March this year, with the aim to positively influence the quality of media reporting on AOD-related issues, improve community attitudes towards people living with issues related to AOD use and increase help-seeking behaviour.
Elizabeth Paton will be presenting on Storytellers and the portrayal of suicide: Balancing entertainment against a risk of harm in the creative industries.Ms Paton's presentation outlines the results and recommendations of the critical review and Mindframe’s work in the creative industries as well as its future directions, including working with funders, producers and distributors within Australia and addressing the challenges of content streaming services and other cross-border services or collaborations that provide content to Australian audiences.
