The Mindframe program is a proud sponsor of CONVERGE Lismore, the First Nations Media National Conference 2021 being held 4-7 May.
The annual conference is an opportunity for the Mindframe team to connect with, and learn from, leaders and practitioners from the First Nations media industry and to find out about the range of work and activities in the sector.
Acting Project Lead of Mindframe, Dr Elizabeth Paton, and Senior Project Officer, Carla Cowles, are available at the event to talk about program resources, guidelines and support for communicating about suicide, mental ill-health and alcohol and other drugs in the media.
The annual conference brings together First Nations media industry representatives from across Australia. The theme of this year’s conference is ‘Meeting Together – Moving in One Direction’ and will celebrate and showcase the achievements of First Nations journalism over the past year as well as the 30th anniversary of the Koori Mail.
Online registration and attendance is available for the conference here.
