Spotlight on upcoming Mindframe activity
Travelling across Australia is just part of how the Mindframe team actively collaborates with Primary Health Networks (PHNs), stakeholders and the media.
The Mindframe team has a busy few weeks coming up, delivering Mindframe Plus training and workshops in various locations, including: Townsville, Murrumbidgee and the Central Coast.
Across all locations the Mindframe team are delivering Mindframe Plus training and workshops to provide guidance and develop a media protocol for implementation, in the event a local suicide incident occurs.
Mindframe Plus training encourages proactive steps to develop a local, on-the-ground approach through the implementation of the Mindframe guidelines and its core principles.
Everymind, Suicide Prevention Project lead, Alexandra Culloden is pleased to be delivering training throughout Australia to support and build the capacity of Primary Health Networks when communicating about suicide.
“Mindframe has been leading behaviour change around responsible reporting for more than two decades. Mindframe Plus is a great opportunity to bring together local first responders and share with them the Mindframe guidelines, which support safe communication on suicide", said Alex.
