Mindframe activities at the 2019 National Suicide Prevention Conference

Everymind’s, Mindframe team will be in Melbourne this week presenting and engaging with attendees at the 2019 National Suicide Prevention Conference.

The Conference, hosted by Suicide Prevention Australia, will be held from Monday 22 July, concluding Thursday 25 July with this years’ theme being ‘United in Action,’ highlighting the role we all play in suicide prevention in Australia.

Throughout the four day Conference, the team is delivering two presentations on Mindframe project areas, including: Mindframe Plus and Mindframe for Alcohol and Other Drugs.

Project Lead, Alexandra Culloden is leading the Mindframe Plus presentation on Wednesday, which focuses on how the Mindframe team support regional communities to communicate proactively about suicide prevention and respond to critical incidents.

Senior Project Officer, Brydie Jameson is leading a presentation on Thursday, highlighting the Mindframe for Alcohol and Other Drugs project and how the newly launched guidelines aim to support media professionals when communicating about Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD).

Throughout the Conference, members of the Mindframe team will be on hand at the Everymind exhibition booth with information and resources if you’re looking for further information on project activities.
